image Was sold a floor model, thinking I got a deal on a new model.
Customer service wasn't helpful on phone, wouldn't adjust the difference for misunderstanding. The Whirlpool works good for the last 10 years.
But I haven't bought anything here since then as my first purchase here left a bad taste.

image Stopped in to check out the kitchen faucets as we had a good experience when we bought our fridge a few years back. We found one my wife liked and wanted to see if it came in another color. Unfortunately, although there were 7 - 8 employees sitting around without customers, the one associate who works in that department was occupied. After waiting 8 minutes while the sales person was having a personal conversation with the customers we tried to get another associate who could answer a simple question. Since everyone works on commission no one was interested in attempting to assist us so we left. Sadly we will have to move on to another business everyone here was interested in sitting around and twiddling their thumbs.

image DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX APPLIANCES FROM THIS STORE! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a store.
I bought $16k worth of Monogram appliances, two of which were open box (refrigerator and freezer) from Ronald Mendez. Of course the fridge and freezer were described as perfectly fine and that the only reason they are open box is because they were the demo units in the showroom. The inspection forms also show the units are complete and working. When we went to install the fridge and freezer, we noticed many parts were missing, including but not limiting, the plug of the fridge was broken, and we could not check how the units function. Their "solution" was to submit this issue as a warranty claim to GE. After dealing with technicians who are not informed of the issues, we finally got a new plug on the fridge. We plugged it in and the refrigerator is not cooling.
I have called customer service multiple times, but they have refused to provide a solution and always tell me they will call me back.
I would never recommend this store to anyone. They sell defective products, and their customer service is nonexistent. I am so disappointed and frustrated and will now have to resort to small claims court and filing complaints with the California AG and BBB.

image We had a GE single oven for over 24 years since our home was built and after it finally gave out, we decided to try WDC appliance Kitchen and bath store in Moorpark. We selected GE once again because of the durability of the original oven. The double oven we purchased from the store along with a 5 year extended warranty we thought we would be set for years. The oven was clearly not made of the same quality and truly seemed like it came from a factory of substandard workmanship, quality from a third world country and as it turns out, lacking basic reliability. The bottom oven had a terrible slide rack system that would bind and we could not get them to freely move in and out of the oven. We knew this was a defective product so we contacted to store and they sent a technician out to evaluate. He concluded that the racks were defective and he ordered new ones. When they arrived, they were slightly smaller in gauge and seem to fit better, but it didn't last and the problem would return with the racks binding. The store sends you a follow up satisfaction survey via text, but when you advise them of the unresolved issue, you hear nothing back at all from them. Well about the 6 month mark, my wife was using the lower oven and opened the door after preheating it and was getting ready to place a dish on the rack when she heard a crack sound. She looked down and saw that the inner glass of the oven door had cracked inexplicably. When I went over and looked, it appeared the glass wasn't even tempered or heat treated in any way. All I can think of is the glass when opened and exposed to room temp air cause the substandard/defective glass to crack. So now the bigger issue. I felt this oven, with it's defective problems identified in just 6 months would cause the store to do all it could to address the concerns of the customer. I'm here to say that WDC does not seem the least bit interested in what kind of customer service it provides. It is difficult to reach there customer service reps, it is unprofessional, and it does not stand by it's products it sells. They tell you to take your complaint with the manufacturer. They don't seem to think a bad customer experience reflects on them in any way. They don't seem to care if GE is supplying them with substandard products. They aren't willing to make things right for the customer. Anyone would have to agree that a brand new oven should not have experienced these types of problems. As i said from the start, our Oven that came with the house went 24 years problem free. So I offer this personal experience to caution anyone considering buying their appliances at WDC Kitchen and Bath in Moorpark. I don't know what has become of GE company. I know their stock took a dive in recent years. But as a customer of WDC, I tried to make clear that I could not simply accept them only offering to replace the broken glass, when there is no assurance that this won't be a repeated problem. The store left me no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB. Unfortunate

image Do not under any circumstances purchase from WDC. We bought an LG fridge with water/ice dispenser 4.5 years ago. Nothing but trouble. The compressor went out in May '23 and we lost everything. I barely saved 5 months of frozen breastmilk, 2 weeks before returning to work from maternity leave. Less than 2 months later the icemaker died for probably the 3-4 time. I have had to jump through hoops to get scheduled through extended warranty on a Sat. We work during the week. I just wasted my whole morning waiting for a tech to spend 3 MINUTES to write down the model number and say 'I have to order the part, it'll be maybe another week or more'. It's been 3 weeks as it is. I will NEVER purchase from WDC again. They will not cash the unit out as a lemon, because they can inconvenience me with continued repairs on different parts until my warranty is done.
