Bamboo Reef Scuba Diving Centers

Placed an order for a pair of freediving fins that the shop didn't have the size for my partner on Dec 16th 2023 and paid in full. Called them around mid Jan to check the status and all we got was they had no idea when the fins would get sent. I tried to give them some more time to see if the shop would sort it out and actually follow up. Called them again just a couple of days ago (Sunday) and was told the same thing that they didn't know when the fins would get sent and couldn't contact the supplier as it's on Sunday and Monday the shop was closed so the staff who answered the phone promised me that someone would give me a call on Tuesday. Of course, no one called. In my opinion, if you have taken my money and confidently told me that the fins could be ordered then I would expect a follow-up call to the supplier regarding the shipping date would be part of the customer service when the order didn't turn up after a month and a half. I appreciated the refund but if you want to place an order for the customer and ask for the money upfront, then do the job right.

I have a fantastic morning diving thanks to the team from Bamboo Reef Scuba Diving. The fantastic experience began a few weeks prior, when I called up while I was back home in Australia and spoke to a lovely staff member with a few questions. He was very helpful and booked me in over the phone for my diving experience. The morning that I arrived at the shop I was warmly greeted and introduced to my dive guide Sam. Sam was super helpful especially with helping me with my weights as I was not use to dry suits and also pounds in place of KG for weight. We dove at The Wall and it was SO spectacular! Diving through the kelp forest was just spectacular and getting to see a show put on by sea lions was just amazing! Would have to be one of my favorite dives! Sam was such a great dive guide, ensuring he pointed out lots of sea life along the dive and took his camera and captured some great pictures of me and the sea life. I would highly recommend seeing the team at Bamboo dive if your looking to dive in Monterey.
