El Rosal

Good Friday evening at 5:00 p.m.. All we ordered was salad, rice and beans. The salad was straight from a bag. The rice was cold in mushy and the beans and tortillas were cold. They seemed like they were busy and shorthanded. We go to this location a lot and it is usually good. I don't know what happened tonight. It was very disappointing though

El Rosal on Tully Rd is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town. I've been here for years & I'm now just leaving a review. The chips & salsa are excellent! The salsa is so delicious that I prefer it over any other salsa. The spiciness is just perfect. The chips & salsa are free, but you can order more for to-go. My favorite dish is camarones a la plancha. The rice is so fluffy & yummy. The fajitas are to die for too. Customer service is great! Highly recommend!

This is usually a great El Rosal location but our visit was very underwhelming. We were there for over an hour. Only about 20 minutes of it involved eating food. 10 minutes waiting for food after we ordered. So basically that's 30 minutes of waiting for someone to come to our table to take our orders or bring the check. The food was decent, not as good as usual.
