Central Valley Play and Grow

They hide toys behind the counter so that clean up is easier when it's time to close. I asked the girl at the counter if the toys behind the counter were sneezed on and she said "we just like to leave a certain amount of toys on the floor at a time. If there's one you see that you'd like your child to play with, I can grab it for you" First of all, when I asked if they had any balls for the basketball hoop (since there were absolutely zero on the floor ???) She offered me a ball from the stack of toys behind her and said she thought it might be too big to go through the hoop (it was not nearly too big, at all) you would think she would've included a friendly "if there's anything else you'd like your child to play with just let me know" it was not like this the last time I was here. (Although I am used to there being less toys than usual since they throw most of the good toys in the classroom area) Second, I paid for my child to go in to a PLAY PLACE and choose which toy he'd like to play with. Too bad most of the available toys are inconveniently tucked away so the employees can leave sooner than later. I still have another visit left of my punch card, I will not be using it. Btw they close at 2pm and I arrived at about 11:45am The staff member did not state that they need to rotate toys and did not offer any other toys until I asked why they were behind the counter. The customer service clearly isn't a priority here.
