Elephant Bar Restaurant

I know it's closed but I just remember ow good the service and food was and how gorgeous it looked inside man I miss this place!

Ok food at a higher price. Considering the price of the food, it should be better. It's not bad, but you can get something just as good from cheaper restaurants. Service is average.

Bartenders are not friendly, don;t smile or talk to anyone sitting at the bar three bartenders not one of them talk to a guest at the bar. Never once asked how are dinner was or cleared our plates. Had to ask three times for refill on soda and ice tea. customer service you won't get it here. The food was over cooked and had no flavor at all.The one salad i did like they took off the menu.I am in the business myself and was just amazed at how unprofessional the staff is. The general manager came over and gave us a return gift card and was concerned about our displeasure with the food she was very friendly and was the best part of our experience. I dont think i will return anytime soon. BJs much much better service and food.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised last Friday evening, when we dined at the Elephant Bar in Modesto. Our server Brianne was a professional! We all loved the food we ordered. My cheeseburger was better tasting than Red Robin's, and I have no complaints with RR at all, they're marvelous. I ordered too much food as per usual, but the Mac and Cheese side did not come to the table...I didn't think about it for a while because I was enjoying the rest of my delicious food. I asked Brianne about it when she come to fill our water glasses, she asked if I still wanted it. I said no, this is plenty..She asked if I wanted to talk to the manager about it, and I said no, there is no reason to make an issue...She apologized and told the manager anyway.. They let us choose any dessert on the menu on the house. We were very pleased with the whole experience, and I thanked the server, and manager Kelly for their commitment to excellence. Although this is a standard operating procedure in a good restaurant, most of the big chains in Modesto don't do it. Small niceties are all we as customers ask! I will be back to Elephant Bar!
