Landscape Locators

Our contract reads to remove all weeds. I have asked them for months to remove 4 weeds that get larger each time they come and they say it’s not in contract. They complain everytime about having to drive to LaHabta from Huntington Beach. They spend 5 minutes mowing and 10 minutes edging and blowing and then they leave. They aren’t ALLOWED to do anything else without me having to call the main office. I would not recommend them to anyone, too much hassle.

My back yard due my age and 2 power washings by the HOA was a disaster area. I didn't really know what to do with it, but I knew I wanted it maintenance free due to my age and bad knees, since taking care of any yard was becoming impossible. I talked to 5 different contractors, However, I wasn't impressed with any of them, and I know 1 of them lied outright since you can't have 4 of the 5 contractors say you have around 200 square feet and 1 come in and say you have 600 square feet. Kevin then came through the door, took a look at my property and when I told him about the 600 square feet he said let me get my tape measure, he came back with 200 square feet and told me what I already knew, that the contractor who said 600 square feet had lied. Kevin gave me estimates for three different options for my yard. Due to the fact I already have a patio, I asked him what he would do if it were his home, he said he would put in Artificial grass because if I decided to sell my place, it would be a selling point to buyers since they usually don't like 2 different types of stone mixed together and that the drainage would be better. Yesterday his team put in the Artificial grass, they did an incredible job installing it! When I got home I didn't even recognize my own back yard, it looked gorgeous, I was absolutely speechless. There are not enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how incredible Kevin and his team are, if there were 10 stars I would give them to that team. Kevin and his team removed my initial debris and turned my disaster area into an oasis. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I would not hesitate for a moment to hire Kevin and his team again, they were on schedule and worked like well oiled machine as they worked their magic on my yard. I highly recommend Kevin, you won't find a better person to help you!

We met with multiple landscape companies before deciding to go with Landscape Locators. Kevin was a great resource, simplified the process and truly listened to our needs and budget. We are thrilled with the outcome and look forward to enjoying many years in our new backyard.

We moved into a brand new property and had a totally empty yard and needed everything doing in both front and back yard. A friend recommended Landscape Locators, I'm so glad we contacted Kevin and used their service. Kevin was on time for all appointments and was very professional and understood what we wanted and with his expert knowledge designed the perfect space for us. Kevin designed and produced all the documents for our HOA and put bids out for contractors. We chose Zion Landscaping and so happy we did. Thank you Kevin for making this process smooth, professional and finding the right team for the job without you the process would have been a major headache, still being worked on and not to the quality that we have had.

NOTE: the following refers to work done earlier this year and this post was made to help reflect the quality of work on a different review platform. This is actually our second time using Landscape Locators, the first time was a couple years ago and we had a real simple sod job done for our backyard. Not sure why I didn't rate them then because I came right on back for our big front remodel! To start off, Kevin is a great guy to work with. He is prompt, professional, knowledgeable and personable. It's easy to tell he knows his stuff and is here to help you have your most satisfying experience possible. Don't know where to start off for your landscape needs? Just call these guys! Once we reviewed our different custom tailored options that Kevin presented us, we opted for Ralph Centolella of aptly named Ralph Centolella Landscaping. He too was just what his credentials said he would be; a professional with quality workmanship. As others have raved, Ralph and his team work and communicate with you, the homeowners, through all steps of the remodel. His crew is hard working and polite and Ralph is always checking in with you and working on aspects of the job himself. Never once did I feel he was cutting corners or taking a shortcut. He had some recommendations that were great but if we chose something for a certain way he did it the best way possible. It's also worth pointing out that even after the job was finished and the last payment made, Ralph is still working with us to amend some items that the picky city board wants altered before final sign off. He didn't get his check and bail, he's committed to your satisfaction. Award winning experience all around!
