Live Oak Waldorf School

We moved to this area because of Live Oak, which is widely known as one of the best Waldorf schools, while also being one of the most affordable. Our daughter has had 2 wonderful teachers so far, and we have found a truly precious community here with classmates, families and faculty. If you want your child to grow up with a sense of inner strength, creative, outside the box thinking, appreciation for nature and for a culturally diverse humankind, Live Oak is the place. I would add that the Waldorf teaching philosophy and modalities are perfect for those seeking a multi-sensory, whole brain/body approach which makes learning fun and applicable to real life. So grateful we found this school.

My family moved here from bay area just so our daughter can attand this school, after four years we still believe it's the best thing we did for her.  helping her foundation to be not only successful but a great human being with strong values in the future.

There is a phrase that gets overused these days but is no less true in this instance: Game Changer.  This school has been an absolute game changer for our family. We started with the preschool (which I encourage any family to try) and fell in love with the educational philosophy, the classmates and their families, the campus, and what our own family has become. If you are looking for a preschool stop your search now, it's absolutely wonderful.  Continuing into grade school might be something to evaluate, but the preschool is a no-brainer.

Our two daughters go to school here and have since preschool. The way they have been lovingly nurtured and met at every developmental step has been a joy to watch. They are growing into bright, confident, kind people, and I know that this school has been a big part of that. The community is strong and supportive, the teachers are amazingly dedicated, and the yearly festivals are something we all look forward to. A truly amazing place!
