Amazing customer service. I happened upon this Inn while dealing with some car issues. Chey was amazingly kind and helped me and my friends with any problem we had and treated us with the utmost car and respect. If this is any indication of how Wylder runs, I'd recommend this place to anyone. I was able to see one of the units and it is such a cute room. Amazing!

First of all, we had a wonderful Valentine's Day getaway at the Wylder, and our cabin was delightfully rustic and comfortable. The gorgeous location, fun winter activities, hot sauna and gourmet food were high points also. With that said, there are a few things the visitor who's new to this resort (like we were) should be aware of, that are not made clear on the website or the brochure. The dining room is small. It has cool woodsy décor, but it holds many fewer people than the capacity for guests at the resort, so you should plan to make reservations well before arrival or you could well be out of luck. They do offer their menu as room service to the cabins, which is nice, and the food is very good. The breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings and serving hours vary, so ask at check-in. At this lovely remote mountain location, don't count on being able to drive to a nearby grocery store or restaurant, so plan to eat at the resort or bring food to cook in your cabin. It's also good to know that the resort's general store and ski shop (X-C rentals) are a short drive away (not a walk in winter) and only open on weekends. As others have mentioned, there's no cell service and wifi only at the main office, so plan to do some unplugging !

Delightful set of cabins only 15 miles away from Kirkwood. Customer service was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! I honestly had low food expectations considering that we had no alternatives, but my pot pie was maybe the best I've ever hard. the gnocchi was super tasty, our kids loved the burgers. We'll definitely be staying here again.
