So homesick for the islands and in the middle of Nowhere, Bootjack, CA, a Food Channel Chef is serving amazing Asian Fusion food and BBQ in portions that would impress any islander. Best part: served with Island Style Aloha. Mahalo Nui Loa!!

Wow. this a God send to Asian food. NO BS, Dave's BBQ is second to none and thankful for mix of cultures.. Our group hired catering from him again and was a GRAND SLAM so say the least. Bob Edwards,

We knew Dave's Western BBQ was here, and Dave has a real good reputation in town, but never was in the area when he was dishing out. Drove by on July 4th with new restaurant signs, and sounded like a good easy way to get some BBQ on the 4th without cooking. I was surprised to see Rapsilog had opened the restaurant with their eastern fare, and also had Dave's western fare. We got the Donkey Platter (suppose to be for 2 but is more in the 5 - 6 people amount of food). Our platter for 2 consisted of 2 portions of bbq pork skewer, tri tip, asian bbq chicken, asian sausage, jalapeno sausage, stir fry noodles, rice, vegtables, garlic potatos, corn on the cob, cole slaw, rolls, butter, bbq and sweet & sour sauce. Mostly asian fare for lunch and both Asian and Dave's Western BBQ after 5:00 pm. Great place to grab take out, but they also have a few tables inside.
