Sadly and reluctantly had to go with two stars. My wife and I went today to celebrate a special occasion. I had the clam chowder, prime rib and the chocolate molten cake. Prime rib was melt in your mouth and the chowder and cake were great. My wife had the beef medallions which were tender but pretty bland. She didn't enjoy them. Server was friendly and did her best it seemed given the 30 person party she was serving in the other room. My wife and I were unfortunately her only other table. And as you can imagine, we were pretty bummed with the experience. The restaurant was 1/8 full with the exception of the huge party on the patio. We arrived at 12:45, left at 2:45 and saw our server when we arrived and every 30-45 minutes thereafter. We felt bad for her and told her so but after we left, we felt like we got ripped off. Dropping $120 on a dinner for two, you expect a $120 service aka attentiveness to refills, a basket of bread without having it "available upon request" for heavens sake and somebody to drop in from time to time. Heard a few servers complaining about "out of my area" deliveries. Manager was nice and pleasant when we told him we hadn't seen our waitress for 30 minutes plus but we were disappointed he didn't attempt to remedy the situation instead we got a "the food was good, that's all that matters right?" Umm...I think that depends on the venue. We had a billing issue that I'm calling about tomorrow where I'm going to ask him to make us whole. I'll report back, maybe give a couple more stars. Hopefully he does. Seemed like good folks working there and circumstantially a bummer for them being understaffed but hey, you want to get what you pay for. If this was Chili's who cares but at $120 a pop?! C'mon! You have to deliver and fix it when you are human make a mistake. To be continued... UPDATE: Manager never responded; we will never be going back. Had to give them one star.
