I am a solar consultant. I depend on good, reliable roof work as the foundation for a good, reliable solar system. Humbertos Roofing went the extra mile for my client. My solar client needed a new roof, and requested the solar mounting brackets and the new roof be installed at the same time. This is actually is not required for a successful solar job, but it is what he expressly wanted to have done. Having a roofing and solar company work together is no small feat, as it needs flexibility from two different work crews, each with different organizational and reporting structures. THEN, add this to the need for good weather and you’re talking a scheduling nightmare. Annette, Humberto’s office manager, worked patiently and competently with my project manager all along the way. She kept us informed, and flexed where she could to make both the roof and the solar job happen simultaneously. When the installation day finally arrived, Humberto’s work crew showed up on time and did a first-class job installing TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) on a not-quite-flat roof.
