I was referred to Dr. Julia Kahan for a possibly fractured bone in my foot. This was a few years ago & I can't remember all the details, unfortunately. However, I saw her late in the day - I was probably her last patient of the day - & i had the sense that she was in hurry & did not want to deal with me. She looked at my foot & declared I couldn't have a fracture, & sent me away with no direction about what else to do. Later I had an x-ray & it turned out I did have a fracture. I have been to this office before, to see her husband some years prior after suffering a fractured vertebra. I do not like the atmosphere in the office. It seems rather disorganized, too many staff busy chatting with each other, forgetting steps in the processes & not oriented towards service to the patients. I did not get a good feeling from her husband, either. I would never go there again.

Dr. Julia Kahan took a mess of an injury to my right leg/ankle - with the potential for further aggravated complications - and set it on a path that, to look at the x-rays, might even be an improvement on what nature originally gave me. The surgical repair is flawless. Also, Dr. Kahan quickly restored a faith and confidence that poor, irresponsible medical care by the original treating medical institution had utterly corroded. In short, she didn't simply repair/restore an injury, but also the neglect and missteps of someone else's post-injury treatment. Dr. Kahan's office staff is genial, effective, and meticulous. Her surgical staff is equally superb. Dr. Kahan came to me by recommendation of a nurse who not only had been treated by Dr. Kahan, but returned when her daughter was injured. There's no greater standard than parental trust. It's difficult to overstate how wonderful, professional, and skilled my treatment has been and continues to be under Dr. Kahan. I recommend her vigorously, and without reservation. Fifteen stars on a 10-star scale!
