I am living post-lab band for a year and can easily say that it has made a major difference in my quality of life for the better. Before the lap band surgery, my highest weight was 337 pounds. I had three young children and no energy to play with them. I have lost 135 pounds through the help of the lap band surgery and everyone at the Weight Loss LA clinic. The staff, especially Myra and Lynn, been wonderful in guiding me on this journey. The only thing I would say is that it look me a little while to get an appointment, but it was worth the wait. I have the energy I need to actively care for and have fun with my kids, which is invaluable.

I was almost 300 pounds when I decided I needed to change my life. I made the decision to get lap band surgery and Weight Loss LA was recommended to me by a friend. After my surgery, I lost 35 pounds in as little as two weeks and I feel much happier and healthier. I even have a better outlook on life and I'm no longer yo-yoing with my weight which is a relief. When I looked for a doctor to do my bariatric surgery, I called the staff at Weight Loss LA and explained my goals and they were very encouraging. So far, I've lost approximately 93 pounds and my partner is also part of this weight loss journey with me. As an aging couple in our mid 50's we want to avoid being stuck in a recliner; we want to be active and have mobility to travel the world and take care of our grandchildren. My daughter uploaded her wedding photos from last year to Instagram and her friends did not recognize me. My weight loss has turned back time and makes me look and feel younger! I have been struggling to lose weight for years. I finally came to the decision to get lap band done. I researched many clinics and doctors until I came across Weight Loss LA. This was the best choice for me because after my consultation, I felt really comfortable with the surgeon. I am really happy with my weight loss, however, I do wish that the weight would come off a little bit faster. I would still recommend this clinic and if I had to chose again I wouldn't change my mind. The staff really makes me feel safe to ask questions and I am happy with the progress I am making.
