Maestro Shoe Repair & Cleaners

Their "working hours" are a LIE - don't for a minute believe they actually keep them. Was at their door this morning at 9:19am and the shop is locked up tight, dark inside, no one answering my repeated knocking. Called their number three times while standing at the door; no one answers it and the voicemail is full. I brought boots to be repaired. Now I will have to lug the bulky things with me the entire day at school. Then I'll have to find another shoe repair business. Thanks for nothing.

I have had Eddie repair two pairs of boots now (one suede, one leather) and he's done a fantastic job both times. I'm sad to see that the only negative reviews to date are people who give 1 star for the shop not being open; that does not reflect the quality of Maestro's service. Seriously, if you need a good cobbler, come to this place. If you're worried about it being open, call ahead (but I've never had a problem).

Their work is solid. I've taken so many pairs of sandals and boots to them, and they came back in great shape. The people are nice and friendly, and compared to my other shoe repair place in San Mateo (not a very good one), their price is more reasonable yet the outcome is fantastic. I'd give 5 stars if they're open on Sundays. Bummer.
