We recently bought a house in Palm Springs and needed a bunch of beautiful rugs. Not knowing much about rugs we decided to educate ourselves by going to pretty much every high end rug shop in Los Angeles. Mehraban & Lawrence of LaBrea both have gorgeous antique rugs but they seemed, for the most part, prohibitively expensive. Other places we went to (HD Buttercup & Rug Warehouse) were more affordable, but lacked the gorgeous inventory. The sweet spot was Modern Rugs which carried a really nice variety of lovely rugs that would brighten up our Modernist home without depleting our bank account. Modern Rugs also has the benefit of getting to deal directly with the owner, a charming gent named Sasha who will bend over backwards to make you happy with your purchase. Ultimately, we got all our rugs from Modern Rugs and we'd highly recommend them as a one stop shop.

Great store , Great selection and awesome service . They have a great website which helped me pick the right rug and also on their site you could upload your photo and see how any rug would look like in your room . Thanks Sasha you guys are the best in this business.
