I live in Vancouver, Canada and have had the pleasure of eating at El Conquistador four times over the years. I love the food, the drinks and most of all, Roberto the waiter is so much fun. It's a shame that this iconic eatery is closing its doors on December 22, 2013. I understand that the rent has increased so much that it has no option but to close. You will be greatly missed. Sorry I can't be there for the final evening. Smiles across the Miles!

Not really authentic Mexican food, but still good variety of Mexican-ish style food..Margarita had me.buzzed after a few sips..funky decor, but cool lil hole in the wall..servers are friendly,

The service was a little over the top but friendly. The atmosphere was fun. The food was fine, but not special, and the portions where huge.
