This place used to be great. I remember when it first opened. I was so excited to have a place to rehearse that was affordable. It had everything snacks, ear plugs and was clean.Lately, it's like no one is here to up keep it. There's no toilet paper in the stalls, the vending machines have been empty for months and doesn't take any form of payment. The floors are beyond filthy. There is no way to change the thermostat when it's hot as hell. Every week I come here and I'm like what else won't be working? Look I'm always here to support musicians but this place really needs someone to take care of it.

Beyond stoked to have found this place. We are from out of town and will be using this spot any time we come in for work. It's clean, thoughtful and easy to use. Whoever had this idea is a GENUIS.

Absolutely shocked at the 3.5 star rating here. Pirate is by far the best rehearsal studio I've been to in LA and I've been to several since I moved here and started my first LA based band back in 2008. The studios are super clean, there's SO much space in them. They have great lighting in the studio and an awesome atmosphere. Booking your studio is a breeze through their website and you can get credits for recommending to friends. I even had an issue where the first time I booked a studio with a discount credit for first time customers, I eventually had to cancel. I rebooked again and was no longer able to use my first time credit. I contacted customer service and they added the credit back to my account. Couldn't really ask for more. Everything they've done for me has been great. Highly recommend.
