Global Arts brings some of the most accomplished music educators in the nation to an accessible, community-driven program that provides free access to music education to children and youth from underrepresented areas of Los Angeles while fostering a new generation of Teaching Artists through professional development sessions that are rooted in equity, inclusion, and self-determination.

This is a wonderful organization that is teaching creativity through music, mentoring these young children to be fully rounded individuals! Founded and run by dedicated women, they have been a pillar in the community.

Global Arts is an AMAZING program. I was a student there last year when the program was first launching during COVID and I'm so happy and grateful I was able to be a part of it. It was a fun and safe way to get my mind off the chaos happening at the time. The environment that both Ms. Jackie and Ms. Emily created was so comforting and made the experience of learning a new instrument after playing music for 10 years so much fun. When I was attending programming they were only offering ukulele classes but they now offer a larger selection of instruments for their student. Global Arts also offers various resources for their students. Some of these include scholarships for students and professional development workshops. Definitely an amazing program worth taking a look at.
