This is such an awesome community resource center serving Los Angeles since 1972. My family and I volunteered during their most recent food drive to end 2018 and we were grateful for the opportunity to help the community. There were dozens of volunteers and we bagged over 300 lunches for the local homeless. The event was well-organized and we're looking forward to volunteering again in the near future.From their mission statement: "SIPA's mission is to enhance the quality of life of Pilipino Americans and other ethnic communities through youth development, health, economic, and social services. SIPA also develops affordable family housing and other projects that promote cultural identity, economic stability, self-sufficiency, and civic participation. All of these programs and services are facilitated through community-based, collaborative relationship."I'd highly recommend giving some of your time to this worthy organization.
