Animal Restaurant

Had dinner on a Monday night with a friend. It's not super crowded. Customer service was great. Food is like always- great. We ordered bone marrow, pigs ear, hamachi tostada, pork belly sliders, chicken liver toast, the carpaccio, and finished the dinner off with the mandarin orange tres leches. All super tasty and done well.

Stopped here on a Saturday night.  It was a relaxed ambiance by the bar area.  The bartender was kind and friendly.  My boyfriend and I ordered two glasses of wine each and we shared the bone marrow.  The roasted bone marrow is paired with chimichurri and grilled bread.  It was very tasty. FYI - the restaurant does not have a sign outside but it is across the street from Jon and Vinny's (one of their other restaurants).  They charge an 18% service fee that is not considered gratuity.  They expect another 15-20% to be added for gratuity.  We were a bit surprised by this and felt it was ridiculous.  Probably won't be back for a while for this reason.

Food and service were great. Didn't love the open room - extremely loud. Food was good but didn't love/understand the hype for the burger. The pate was phenomenal and bone marrow A!

Great lil hipster restaurant. Honest take: they could simplify the ingredients count in some dishes. The bone marrow dish had too much going on. No need for balsamic glaze, especially co side ring the dish was served with a chimichirri. Bone marrow is decadent by itself. You could not taste the marrow because it was overwhelmed by everything else. The bone burger is A+. Its brilliantly served with rye bread and cooked to perfection. On the menu, everything sounds amazing however you expect the dish to be very rich, however it was very balanced and perfectly executed. Carrot dish was fantastic- lots of wonderful spices. Great wine selection too. Overall, a great dining experience, super friendly staff.
