Dr. Perry Sheih and his students ruined my life. I was admitted to UCLA with a painful nerve condition w/paralysis. They did three brain surgeries in five days. On the fifth day they sent me home. No physical therapy, no occupational therapy, no home health, no follow up prescriptions, no rehab. That was in February. Im still working with my PCP to get the follow up care I could have used so that my nerve damage isnt permanent. Writing a referral for rehab wouldnt have hurt, or a prescription for the medication I need would have been standard. Sending me home so soon, with no follow up care was irresponsible, debilitating and just unprofessional. If I had this to do over again, Id go to Cedars I love the other departments at UCLA but neurology makes me rethink my entire care plan with UCLA

Worst office staff I have ever experienced this is the second time I send various messages via my chart and make many calls because my nephews seizure activity and they never get back or respond to any messages no matter you do they never respond ended up switching neurologist to a different hospital he had always been seen at Loma Linda since a baby by Dr. Michaelson Peds neurologist and he would personally answer every message no matter the time and would get his seizures under control and see him right away but this office doesnt even deserve a 1 star

I'm not sure if this is the right department. I was referred to UCLA's neuromuscular sub specialty by my neurologist. I was assured by the coordinators at my neurologists office AND the doctor himself that the coordinators at UCLA had the referral form. I had multiple different conversations with his office to verify and back and forth with UCLA to confirm they had it. I was quoted a two week wait while my case went to review by the coordinators at UCLA. That was over 3 weeks ago, and nobody's gotten back to me.

The patient services department who works with insurance companies to approve procedures is abysmal. In the last year, the Program Coordinator 1) took 45 business days to respond to me about an insurance appeal for a procedure, 2) provided incorrect information on what procedures were approved by my insurance, and 3) canceled a future appointment without my authorization. I have made several attempts to speak to supervisors in attempt for clarity and to provide helpful feedback in order to improve UCLA's patient care, but after 6 months of mistakes and lack of ownership, I'm writing a review.

Dr.Raj and his department of nurses are absolutely amazing! Been to CHOC, Loma Linda, UCI and many private practices but no one can meet his standards! He not only cares about his patients but also the families opinions. Dr. Raj has kids of his own so he knows exactly how to sympathize and understand each parent. As his nurses they are angels on earth! Hand selected by God himself to help and guide each parent. I can write a book but I love this team!!!
