Ate here during the height of Covid madness and we very impressed. The owner was working all alone with several customers and though an obvious stressful situation for anyone, he was handling it well. Our breakfast was delicious and the Greek salad we also ordered (yes, weird but I love them) was actually one of the best Ive ever had. The freshest greens! When all the customers were served he made sure he came outside to check on our food. Very friendly to all. Wilshire was a ghost town but it was clear that people were coming from blocks around to eat there. Hoping to visit again on our next trip to LA!

Also Asian American here. I disagree with previous reviewer - owner was incredibly nice to me and my son. We are staying at a nearby hotel and grabbed some breakfast to go. Perfect scrambled eggs, great bacon, and the best breakfast potatoes (cut in small cubes and fried... delicious) Highly recommend. There is also outdoor patio seating. I hope to try more of the menu during our stay here in LA.

Clean place. High expectations. Server guy put on his best Casablanca/Lawrence of Arabia-era act for the white customers and an avuncular tone for the black customers. Very brief, very curt with me, an Asian American. If you are also Asian American and reading this, you know what I am talking about because you have gone through a lifetime of this sort of treatment and through Covid 19 Asian hate. All smiles until he talks to you. Then its the stern and mean treatment. Moreover, the chicken noodle soup was an abomination. It was dollar ramen noodles with some cuminy middle eastern sauce, and chives. None of the regular chicken noodle ingredients to be found anywhere. It was the worst chicken noodle soup I have ever had. It was my misfortune to taste this travesty of a . I will NEVER stop here again.
