Horrible Company to work for! Managers are able to make outrageous statements to you and HR doesnt find it concerning. Your Center expects you to perform with the horrible training that was Issued, and doesnt give you the necessary tools phone, desk, computer. If you have a problem, or concern all I ever heard was make a ticket . Be patient ,be flexible .

Worst care that Ive ever received. Its really disappointing that my doctor doesnt share the same concerns that I do regarding my medical care. I have zero trust in the the doctors at Alta Med and as soon as Im able, Im changing my PCP & leaving AltaMed.

Horrible experience I have been trying to reach the HR department all morning and no one now's where to transfer me, .this is so frustrating I thought it was just call center but everything with Altamed is a fail

Horrendous horrible atrocious service. My parent has a misfortune of having Altamed as a provider on their medi-cal plan - we keep going through the circles of insurance hell to obtain an authorization for an urgent surgery. Every doctor we talk to emphasizes the urgency, yet receiving the approvals with Altamed is a painfully long process. After three days in a row of speaking to Altamed, countless minutes on the phone with Altamed, PCP and the doctor's office - I am yet to receive the much needed URGENT approval. If you happen to have medi-cal health insurance, check your provider, and if you notice Altamed - change your provider immediately. Do not wait until an emergency happens. Altamed has no sense of urgency, no compassion, no system of accountability. We have to make multiple phone calls to get this escalated only to wait for 24-72 hours for another and then another URGENT approval. Then start the multiple phone calls to get any kinda of status updates - if you do not call yourself, they will not call you or text you or email - they will eventually send your URGENT procedure authorization by snail mail - yes, that is how urgent it is for them to get the approval to you. There is no way to see your approvals online - there is a dashboard but it's a bunch of blank pages.
