They have a sexual predator on staff. They've refused to disclose his name, even though it is clearly stated in their patients rights materials. He is still on staff, they were stupid enough to put it in writing. It's not a safe environment for women. They've greatly underestimated the seriousness of this matter. They just keep blowing it off & referring you to patient advocacy who is also unavailable, because they're constantly in a meeting. The CEO of Cedars Sinai Thomas Priselac was made aware back in December 2023 & has done nothing. I have a feeling that's gonna change when the media comes around.

I had a disappointing experience at the urgent care facility. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 pm, but by 10 pm, I hadn't been seen. Only at 11 pm did a technician finally call me however, by that time I was at home. The front desk attendant, security, and valet had left by 9:30 pm leaving me alone in the lobby. As a young woman, this situation was particularly alarming. The careless and unsafe environment, compounded by the delayed attention, heightened my discomfort. The delay and lack of support were careless and unsafe. Given that my appointment was made by urgent care and i had to fast all day, my health situation worsened. The rude and condescending manner of the person who finally called at 11 pm added to the overall negative experience. This falls far below the standard expected from the renowned Cedars Sinai name.

This place is absolute disorganized chaos and I would NEVER trust Cedars with my medical service after this experience. I went here for my CT scan and they messed up my order entirely, only having fulfilled half of the images ordered. I later had to enter panic mode and return for a last-minute appointment after my surgeon realized that half of the images were missing. This unbelievable mistake of theirs almost cost me my long-awaited surgery date, and it did cost me several hours off of work for my last-minute reschedule. But wait! There's more! I had to spend hours upon hours in messages and on the phone with this center to get my charges waived for my second visit (since it was due to their medical negligence). The approval process apparently had to be approved by some department head, which seemed unnecessary, and it took forever to complete. I also came to find out very thoroughly, throughout all this headache process, that their phone and email support are total trash. It is a constant pass-off among phone and/or email reps that seem to be trained to wear patients down until they give up and give in to their negligent medical billing. Nobody ever has any real answers, hold times are unbearable, disconnects are more frequent than not, ALL Cedars phone trees are broken in some sort of way, their phone trees time-out and then hang up on you perpetually, and phone reps pass you off to email support and vice versa. I was finally able to get an approval verification for my second CT fee waiver after several wasted hours of my life over several weeks. But wait! There's more! I just got a statement in the mail stating that, they not only ran my second CT scan through my insurance and fraudulently billed them for a CT scan that was supposed to be complimentary (due to their medical negligence on the first scan), but they are expecting me to pay $7.29 out of my own pocket. Oh, btw, I have already met my annual out-of-pocket maximum too. So they are 0/3 on fraudulent charges I guess. Now I have to decide whether to just pay $7.29 to these crooks or fight it with my insurance and/or the California Department of Managed Healthcare. So, unless you want a center with total trash customer service, fraudulent billing practices, and an attitude of treating patients like little abused cash cows, then perhaps reconsider where you get your medical services from. I am at an utter loss as to how Cedars Sinai is so highly regarded. This is one of the worst medical center experienes that I have ever had.
