Very overpriced for so so meat. Too many other  good options available in KtownProbably won't be back.

Here's the review I wanted to write: Ssam is the most underrated, premium grade meat, and amazing service. I haven't been here in a couple years and it seems their clientele thinned out a bit. They were pretty empty but our servers were on top of it. I guess the AYCE menu is a new addition- $43 for standard dinner, $60 for premium but the extra $17 is worth it if you like prime short rib and rib eye. They cooked for us and made sure we were never short on anything we needed. Here's the review I will write after my experience tonight. Meat is still one of the highest quality for AYCE in Ktown, and trust when I tell you we've been to all of them. Also never had had to wait for a table, the restaurant itself is pretty huge- and they don't seem to get too occupied. It's quiet inside and you can hear yourself think, and converse with your company.Free parking in a lot is always a plus. Five stars if we were only taking meat quality, and wait time into consideration. We came back expecting the same service and a great dinner, feeling like we had a secret spot just to ourselves!! L O L Minus two stars for the service, which affected our experience. We asked our servers to cook for us- and the first answer was no L M A O And for some reason they came back around and cooked for us but ... why are u aggressively cutting meat that's obviously not ready to be cut- spitting hot oil over clothes and table...? At that point, just should have left us alone??? Anyways- if you're looking for good kbbq and willing to pay a lil extra for it, SSAM is the spot. Just don't expect good service to come with it.

Food quality was mostly on point. Meat dishes were of high quality and even side dishes were well made and delicious. Exception, duk bokgi ordered was not fresh, the rice cake was 2x the norm size and old tasting. Other than that food was well made. However the service was not great. I was met with a server, Min, was not courteous. I don't know if he had a problem with a previous customer. When I asked him to explain the menu, he rudely said it was all there and asked me rhetorically, "whats to explain?" I rolled with it and wanted to see how it played out. He became more cordial and his demeanor gradually changed. He even grilled for us and changed the pan several times and the service became better. Although the food was great, ironically, the service left a bad taste in my mouth. I would probably not be coming back here anytime soon.
