One of the better Indian restaurants I've found in LA. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Food came out quickly. The karahi curry with chicken was superb. The Gulab Jamun was delicious, very sweet and the outer crust was crunchy with a soft cheesecake texture inside. The prices were really good for the speed, quality and taste.

Absolutely rude and horrible service. I specifically ordered the chicken curry without dairy which didn't happen. It wasn't supposed to have dairy to begin with. The girl eating it ended up having a terrible allergic reaction. I called and spoke to four people asking for a refund. One guy apologized and told me the dishes for mixed up with another delivery. Then I spoke to Tony who was unbelievably rude and essentially told me he wouldn't refund me. After arguing he agreed to refund me $14 for the meal but didn't give me any confirmation when my card would be credited. He told me there was no proof she was having an allergic reaction to the meal and to send the ER paperwork after. Furthermore when I asked for his full name in case I filed a lawsuit he only gave me his first name and verbatim said "catch me if you can". As regular customers I am utterly disgusted and disappointed with India's Oven. Terrible service, rude to customers, and sub par food.

this place is overrated. stingy helpings and routine preparations.
