Probably an unpopular opinion but the hotel was just okay. Its big with celebrities and influencers, and yes the place is beautiful, but not what I expected. Our king size room was a queen at best. Not joking, it will NOT be a king sized bed. The lobby and reception area are super tiny and their gym is nothing like the pictures convey - just a tiny little room in the corner of the building. We did get upgraded to the 2nd floor due to a mixup in the reservation, which was awesome since we had access to the private 2nd floor lounge and breakfast service, but that was probably our only enjoyable part.
The rooftop was small (where in the hell are all these shows filming up there that it looks so big?!). Also, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was even smaller. Wont fit 2 people lol and although the rain shower is nice, it spanned the entirety of the shower space, so youre not going to be able to move around in there at all. Guess I was just underwhelmed after hearing and seeing this place all over my movie screens and in magazines as a celebrity hangout spot.

Very clean, nice location. But charges resort & amenities fees that were already included in price in pre-Airbnb days.

Had a really great experience at the Godfrey Hotel in Hollywood! Arrived in LA around supper time and I was really impressed with the atmosphere of the hotel including the front lobby and especially the roof top pool. They have their own restaurant to the left of the main lobby , food was really good and its a must have for their specialty drinks. The room was very cozy and the windows give that night light city vibe. I also regret not purchasing the robes they had due to how cozy they were when you hop out of the shower then onto the bed. Lots of storage for clothes and traveling items as well. The roof top pool was amazing. When you get off the elevator you are greeted with a casual/formal bar and to the right of the elevator you will find the pool. Pool was nice and refreshing especially for a hot California day. Overall really great experience!
- Just -1 On the Location just because there were lots of homeless beside the building and especially going up to the Hollywood walk of fame. The city of Los Angeles could at least relocate them somewhere else, especially for a national wide tourist attraction. But not enough to get below 5 stars. Thank you The Godfrey Hotel!
Walkability: Lots of homeless close to the side of the building and going towards the Hollywood walk of fame.
Food & drinks: Roof top bar is a must!
