Loud fire alarm goes off every. single. day. Any given time or day theres a cover band playing loud, no utilizing their classrooms for this, just out on the field. Football games go on for hours, more noise, music. Their audio tech for the public announcer is horrid. Any event going on they leave the PA on where there is a constant buzzing sound for the duration. Its total incompetence in audio and just inconsiderate for the schools neighbors. The very neighbors that paid for their shiny track they don't allow the public to use. What public school doesn't open their track to the public?

If you want your children to be proficient at the McDonalds drive thru this is the place to send them. The staff & administration are jokes. The few good teachers they have are overshadowed by mediocrity of the rest. Professional finger pointers, blaming victims, minimizing serious issues & happy to give you bad attitude just for asking a simple question. JMHS can print all the right words on their fancy glossy paper & their parent/teacher handbooks it's just words. They have no intention, desire or ability to enforce the things that they claim to stand against. There is absolutely no accountability on their end. If you send your children here don't expect much of an education. More importantly, question JMHS ability to keep your children safe.

Here checking out the Los Feliz Flea Market for the first time. Dog Friendly! Free parking! Free admission! In LA?! Yep the 3 main points to highlight and appreciate. It was about 70 degrees when we were there from 11-12.  The blacktop was only a little warm but in the Sunmer / warmer weather I'd bring booties for your pup's paws. There is a whole seating area in the shade next to the school if your canine kid needs to cool off. There was a water fountain in the cafeteria area outside but due to covid it was taped off. Well laid out in parking area. We waited at gated lot on Tracy for a bit but walk through gate and gate to parking were locked at 10:45 so we walked around to main entrance on St George. There were 3 food trucks- 2 outside on St George, 1 inside lot by cafeteria area. The Bollywood truck inside was the only one with a Vegan option that I saw. This is nothing like the flea markets I went to back home in the IL/ IN/ WI. This is a lot of trendy "vintage" retro clothing but a good amount of vendors with candles, incense, cbd, jewelry, handmade bags, skin care like body butters, etc. Everyone was really friendly. The DJ guy was really cool- let me borrow one of his chairs to try and raise my girl up for an angel wings photo! As you can see she didn't want to sit on the chair.

As a parent, I am overall happy with the school and staff. I am here to share my experience with Ms Danielyan, assistant principal. I am a single mom, and a nurse, working long hours at the hospital due to shortage of nurses due to the pandemic. Due to my work schedule, we were not able to turn in my daughter's books in last week. I called the school and informed them and I was told to bring the books in this morning. When we arrived, there was no line, no other students, but Ms Danielyan refused to let my daughter turn in her books, saying you should have come last week, and she kept going off in a extremely ignorant rude manner. She feels very authoritative and extremely bitter and rude. Over reacted to a situation and created a scene in front of other school staff members because we were not able to turn in my daughter's books. Thankfully, there was other staff members, who were helpful and despite of what Danielyan said, they allowed us to turn in the books. This could have been completely avoided, we could have just nicely turned in the books and left. Ms Danielyan should be warned not to bring her bitterness to work.
