My experience here in the most part has been great although I still have reservations about some of the people here one only has to want to make it and use of all the tools and things here to utilize it's the ones here that don't really care which ruin it for the rest of us other than that things are good they could use a little work as far as staff members go and how they treat people

I have been a tenant at "the George" for 12 years, maybe longer than any other. During my time I have had managers and other staff members come and go. As with staff, the same is true with.fellow residents. Some came and did with their time, what was absolutely necessary for them to do to move on, and only that. God bless them, that I believe is what everyone wanted for them, at the very minimum. Others came here and did nothing to help themselves, or their situation, eventually failing at the opportunity presented to them. It's unfortunate that they did not see what was right in front of them. Others came and struggled, and did not have the strength to succeed, and some slid back down to streets from which they came. As for me, and many others like myself, came into "the George" and we took what was being offered..a home. We have had our ups and downs, some of my most trying times I have endured here. But I have endured. I have learned where I am strong and where I need support. Every day I learn and grow. That is what the St. George was designed to do. Transition those chronically homeless into "forever" homes. Until that time, "the George" is our home. I often laugh that intend to live at the St George until the end of my days, and beyond..perhaps I will one day be only a whisper in the night, a story told the new residents , the ghost of the St George? Until that time, I am happy and feel blessed to call the St. George my home.
