If you are not looking for serious assistance in your quest to be anxiety/panic free, this man is for you. There is quick availability at a cost ($300 per 25 min after a $900 initial appointment). I just received a bill for genetic testing (which did nothing yet was touted as a great tool by Dr. Vari) today for $3000. This is after I paid $400 out of pocket for this test (in addition to out of pocket costs for regular appointments with Dr. Vari). I was assured by Dr. Vari that he did not get "kickbacks" from this genetic testing company. Hmm. Luckily I have found a great new doctor who doesn't play these types of games. I was made to feel awful and ashamed about myself by Dr. Vari and could never in good conscience recommend him to anyone.

It made me sad to read this review and I understand why receiving an unexpected bill from a third party would be concerning. Unfortunately, due to patient confidentiality, I am not allowed to discuss the specifics of any patients that I may (or may not) have seen, and so I will limit my reply to a general statement.I do not take medical decisions lightly and I make them with the patient’s best interest at heart. Sometimes those decisions may be difficult for patients to hear or accept. I take my obligation as a physician seriously and am committed to making the right decisions and recommendations even if a patient may disagree with them. I have never received a "kickback" or any form of remuneration for a medical test I have ordered. If you are having difficulty with a billing matter related to a third party vendor, please contact me and I will do whatever I can to assist you.
