Kutula by Africana

As a Yoruba woman, my family and I was displeased to witness inaccurate and false information being spread about the Yoruba culture. Within Nigeria there are over 2,000 tribes who practice their individual cultures and speak their own language. To say one tribe is alike or the same is inherently false. What I love about my country is the distinctive practices we have. A large sum of what you see in Nigerian fashion for weddings and big events are originated from the Yoruba tribe. This is not an ambush but constructive feedback, I wish for your business to kutula (excel in Zulu).

I visited this Beautiful Boutique and was Greeted with a smile from Bo and the Customers shopping as well. Beautiful Fabrics, Designs and Atmosphere. I was thouroughly Impressed. Although Bo didn't have the fabric I was looking for She referred Me to two other locations. I will definitely be referring others :)

It is difficult to find a good African shop in Los Angeles. This one is in Altadena and they carry excellent items.

My husband and I were looking for African attire for a trip.  This store had a HUGE selection of top quality items, from clothing, to jewelry and accessories! It was a little pricey, but the clothing that we bought will last a long time.  The service was also excellent.  Highly recommend
