    I really did not want to leave this review but as I'm receiving more and more pictures from my wedding, I am getting more and more disappointed. I have tried to email the staff member I had been speaking to when I was buying+tailoring my dress but I received no response. The customer service I received in store was nothing short of kind and professional, and even the tailor during our meetings was very sweet and helpful, I am only upset about the final product. I requested to make the sleeves of my dress detachable, which at the time of purchase and even at several of my fittings I had been told would not be a problem. However, I never got the chance to try on my dress with the detachable sleeves as it was left as the very LAST thing to be done, and so did not know just how badly it would be done. The latches for the sleeves to hook on to we're very flimsy pieces of string, and ripped just an hour into me wearing my dress - I didn't even make it to church without the dress literally tearing from the inside, I had to find whatever pins I could get and was constantly asking people to pin me INTO the dress so the sleeves would make it down the aisle. In all my pictures, you can either see that the dress is falling apart, or you can see the literal metal pins I had to use to keep the sleeves on!If I had known, I would have gotten my dress tailored elsewhere, as I was charged around $2000 for the tailoring alone and ended up with a makeshift dress. I am so disappointed as I loved this dress and now in 80% of my pictures the dress is clearly not as it is supposed to be

    I recently got engaged and have been so excited to make an appointment at Monique Lhuillier -- her gowns are truly stunning. I reached out via their website contact form and a couple days later someone called me to schedule an appointment. Great, done. Fast forward-- we walk up to the store on our appointment day and the associate, Priscilla, opens the door asking us how she can help us. We let her know we're here for an appointment and she proceeds to leave us outside for 10 mins while she "checking our appointment". It wasn't until another mother/daughter walk up and another associate who let them in asks us how she can help us, till the other associate finally lets us inside. Finally while we wait inside, Priscilla rudely lets me know that unfortunately they're all booked up today and looks like I don't have an appointment -- although there is a note in the system that they called me previously (which was when I scheduled the appointment via phone!). Instead of realizing there must have been a mistake on their end and apologizing, she just said unfortunately there's no one to help you and maybe we can try to find another day for you to come back. Mind you, my mom drove all the way from Calabasas to meet me for this appointment. It was such a horrible experience. These ladies are supposed to make you feel warm and fuzzy for your special day! There could have been so many other ways to handle this situation and that was not it. I will not be giving a dollar of commission to anyone who treats us this way and will be looking for my wedding gown elsewhere.

    I wish I could give negative stars. My daughter made an appointment to try on bridal gowns. We got there this morning on time and went up to the door. A sales person opened the door and asked us what we wanted. We told her we had an appointment. She said she would check and close the door leaving us in the street. About 10 minutes later another mother and daughter came to the door and another sales person opened the door, let them in, asked us what we needed and when we said we had an appointment she opened the door and let us in. Then the first sales woman came back and called my daughter by the wrong name, said there was no appointment for us in their books. Then she proceeded to tell us that they were fully booked and maybe they can find another appointment for us. No apology about their mistake. She was so rude and condescending that I started to get more and more angry. She kept up her obnoxious attitude. I finally couldn't take it anymore and told my daughter we are leaving. I will never pay a dollar to anyone who hires such a rude person to sell for them. Walked out made a few calls and another Beverly Hills bridal shop had an opening and got us in. I think we might have even found "the" dress at this shop. Very sad that some people act as if they were raised in a barn. Not a single we are sorry for a mistake they made.
