folks do not donate cars to charities. They never give them to people in need.
If you feel like donating a car just post on craigslist and interview responders in person and give to whoever you feel deserves more.
Many people had their cars repossed by automakers during work closures..ruining credit history and everything, and becoming homeless as the result, not financeable and unuable to rent or even work without a car..
None of these charities help in getting a car. Which makes one ask them? What they do with donated vehicles.
So like with clothing just donate it directly...to those in need. Tax write off a person getting the car can provide their info and sign a basic contract slip..took in possession a car that worth this much as a gift...
and thats it...
