Eastside Tacos

"Taco parties" are something we have a fair amount of experience with both hosting and attending. In that vein, we have experienced Monica and her staff now three times. Their food is excellent, "restaurant quality," their service impeccable and their professionalism and reliability are unmatched. They will work with you and readily accommodate "special requests." They were a pleasure to use in contradistinction to some other companies we have hired. They will remain our first choice by far and we will happily recommend them without hesitation.We have zero complaints. (We usually have a few!) Highest Recommendation.

I found this business on yelp and wasn't disappointed one bit. The food was delicious, set up was beautiful and the service was beyond. They were extremely professional from the moment I emailed them to inquire pricing and received a message very promptly with an list of items they provided. They bring their own plates,cups for their delicious agua Frescas and at the end of your experience they package all of your left over food with containers they provide. I HIGHLY recommend EastSide tacos and I'll be contacting them for my future events and parties. Thank you so much for making our party awesome. great service.

I found these caterers last minute because my usual guy was booked. Monica was prompt and professional in our communications . The food was yummy and the cooks/servers were friendly and professional I highly recommend this taco caterer service We had service for 50 and about 30 people were actually there ( I ordered for more so we'd have leftovers, everything was tasty and fresh ! The watermelon agua we chose was delicious too! Nothing like fresh homemade tortillas! Yum

Believe the reviews. I used them this weekend. I have been hiring taco people for over ten years.  This was the best ever!!! They cook the meat on site -- unlike that reheated crap everybody else brings. The homemade tortillas are outstanding. The horchata is authentic and extremely creamy and delicious. My husband hates it and could not stop drinking this one. It is not like the cheap stuff everybody gives you from a mix. The melon water hit the spot with so many; it was 89 degrees outside - both were not overly sweet at all. They made quesadillas and the 17 kids as well as adults loved them. So glad I did not have to order pizza for the kids. The rice was not orange and gross. It was beautiful and delicious and the beans, oh, man, the beans, BOMB!             Very generous portions of everything.  I will admit, I thought the tacos would be limited because of the high quality ingredients, but there was a ton of food leftover and people had seconds and thirds. One of my guests bragged he ate 12 tacos.  So many people got to take food home and everybody I offered food to go did not say the usual, "Oh, no, but thank you.  You enjoy it so you don't have to cook tmrw." THEY JUMPED on taking food home.         THE PRESENTATION: Something that people have not really commented on; definitely higher end. They cover their table with a black linen tablecloth and skirt! The condiments were arranged with detail. The jars for the waters were awesome.  The plastic cups were pretty and not cheap styrofoam. The plates they provide are super sturdy and the forks are not those annoying little ones that the majority of taco people supply. The napkins were also high quality. MAN OH MAN: they packaged the leftovers in chafing tray aluminum half tray pans with solid covers that they provide.  I DON'T KNOW how many times I am finally going to settle down, and the taco people tell me I need to give them containers if I want my leftovers. Kind of sucks when you finally get to have a couple of drinks and then you have to go scramble looking for containers.  Everything that has to do with the business is of premium quality and very appealing.  I prefer taste over "looks" but if you care about impressing your guests, this is the total package. STRESS FREE: I don't know how many times I have hired taco people, and they arrive telling me they need me to set up a table. And if it's a hot day, and even if it is not that hot, they expect us to put up an EZ up for them.  Sometimes I don't even have one up for my guests, or I don't have an extra one laying around that I did not intend on having to scramble around and provide for people I hired to make life easier when hosting a big party. EASTSIDE BROUGHT VERY NICE BLACK EZ UPS for Hiliberto and Luis (our cooks of the day) and for the table of condiments and waters.         I like that they treat their workers with consideration. THE cooks were so polite and so accommodating and flexible! They had so much passion and pride making the food. MONICA is so nice and professional. She is very patient too!  This was one of the first times that I did not find plate after plate of food when cleaning up the tables. There were only about two plates with food; one taco and one with some rice - that belonged to the kids. This was the first time that at least 12 people wanted  business cards.   PRICE: Only $150 more than what I usually pay for reheated meat, factory tortillas, ugly rice, cheap paper goods -- in fact, I always buy my own because I don't want people food falling off the cheap plates.  IN A NUTSHELL; OUTSTANDING FOOD, upscale presentation and paper goods and utensils, professional service, packing up all done for you, and they clean up after themselves, AND Monica's caring attention to detail and great guidance. My vendor until they retire!
