I wouldn't usually describe a bowling alley as beautiful, but Highland Park Bowl isn't your typical bowling alley. It's 100 years old, wonderfully restored, and filled with a ton of old bowling memorabilia. It's fully functional, and the equipment actually works better than that of many modern bowling alleys I've visited. I didn't eat here but the menu looked great and the cocktails were delicious. The staff are friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time, which we certainly did.

Cool old bowling alley and a solid drinks program for a bowling alley but be aware that you usually need a reservation in advance to actually bowl.

Ambient lit environment that completely took me in. The wall of mechanical pin resetting was captivating. Lighting design and ethereal look that made for the most visually stunning bowling ever. Great drinks. Wonderful food choices. The best cannoli Ive ever eaten. Highly recommend for a fun date or gathering of friends. Typically a wait on the lanes so put your name on the list. A bit $$$ but well worth it.
