Villa Adobe Apartments

Just moved out of here this month. The apartment itself is safe but outside has a lot of homeless camps. They get cleaned up from time to time but they always come back. Moving out of here was unnecessarily stressful due to Security Guard Mr. Woo, who we asked to watch our moving truck while we were in the process of loading it. It was only three of us, and he got impatient for some reason and he LEFT. I had to go find him in the lobby and ask him to please come back. He kept complaining that we were taking too long, were slow, and that other people take half the time. Were not strong people, we didnt have any professional movers to help, we only had one hand truck/moving dolly. Mr. Woo made this a stressful experience. He sat in a chair at the parking garage door and complained at us while we were moving our things into the truck. He was watching videos on his phone the entire time so it felt like he didnt care if our stuff got taken or not. He does nothing but sit inside the mail room and tell DoorDash drivers they cant go up. I dont understand why it was such an inconvenience for him to watch our things when there are many homeless people in the area. We enjoyed having Samantha as our apartment manager as she is personable, empathetic, and helpful. I hope this feedback can help prevent this kind of experience from happening to future tenants here.
