I only experienced it for a corporate event, I am not sure how often it is open as a regular restaurant. That said, it was pretty awesome. Though I wish to hell they would fix the electrical so the lights didn't flicker constantly. The way they set up our event was extremely classy, everybody assumed that the menu would involve a choice but instead they served everybody some of everything and most of it was damn good. The service was very linear, the way the side dishes arrived well after the main course was slightly odd. Still, I believe these were the best french fries I have ever had in my life! I would certainly recommend it for corporate events, and I would definitely recommend if you have the opportunity to go there for free, but I would gladly go again as a regular restaurant too.

Food is good, prices are too steep for what you get, and the service is pretty rubbish. Made a brunch reservation, when making said reservation told them I had the Gilt brunch for two voucher. When we arrived the place was only half full (on Sunday at noon?). It took a good 15 minutes from ordering drinks for them to appear (a coffee and mimosa, both just okay) and I honestly lost track of how long we waited for food ( once again nothing special, my benedict was barely noticably different than my cohort's avocado tartine, except mine came with a side of cold home fries). And for dessert, we got the notification that they didn't have any, even though it was listed on the menu and supposed to be included in the voucher meal. Same happened to party sitting next to us. After waiting another 10 minutes to put the tip on my credit card, we gave up and just left all the small bills we could find in our bags. In a city of great brunches, the larchmont doesn't keep up.
