Greenberg & Jackson

I have been using this accounting firm for many years.  I have always found them to be very accurate and on time with things.   Which of course is very important when you are dealing with financial matters and tax returns.  Brad Bernstein, CPA, has been my accountant.   He is a really good accountant.   Very experienced and knowledgeable.  Comes up with good ideas but always keeps things straight.  Brad is a class act!

When I asked questions about the fees, apparently that ruffled some feathers and I was told I care more about the fee than the service, and that they're not the right company for me. An accountant getting upset that I'm being cautious about my spending. That's a new one.

My husband and I have had our annual taxes done here for a number of years. They are always warm, professional and friendly. Always very efficient as well - we send from Arizona as we like them so much!

Full disclaimer. I have never used Greenberg & Jackson, and it's quite possible that they are excellent in what they do. My reason for rating them with only one star is because after reaching out to them through their website, contact form, and then following up with an email to them, and not hearing back I phoned their office. I told the gentleman who answered the phone in their office that I was looking for a CPA to do a compilation for us. He told me that he had never heard of a compilation, and didn't think they did them. No problem with that answer except that one of the pages on their website says that compilations are one of the services that they offer. Again, they may be great at what they do as it relates to accounting, taxes, etc. but my experience in phoning their office was less than positive.
