Wish she put "to go" order properly for the fish chowder dish that comes with the rice noodle. The purpose of my driving all the way to Loomis to pickup two orders of this dish along with another dish was so that I can enjoy a little bit of that fish chowder dish each day since I normally need to eat high protein dish and this chowder dish does not have enough protein for me. It is very tasty but I had to finish it off rather quickly in less than 24 hours (alone) because in the to go box, rice noodle was mixed in with the chowder and my plan to use wheat noodle instead was defeated. So if you plan to order that fish for To Go, make sure to instruct her to pack the noodle separately.

Incredible food, incredible personalized service. If you dont know what to order she will walk you through the menu. Clearly passionate about their food, and love is the main ingredient. My new favorite spot!

We had: 1. Curry chicken and potatoes. Tasty, but there were not many potatoes. 2. Shrimp Pad Thai was excellent! Highly recommended. 3. Tea salad, the house specialty, was excellent. Avoid if you have nut allergies. 4. Black bean catfish had great flavor. The catfish is, of course, boneless. The texture of the fish was a bit mushy. *These dishes were eaten over white rice. There is plenty of parking and an easy to find location. The service left a bit to be desired. Definitely mom and pop. It seemed like Mom was waiting tables, and Pop was cooking. Service and food came out slowly. However, if you have time, the food was not bad & certainty easy on the pocketbook at this "Hole-in-the-wall" in Loomis.

I am leaving a 2 star review for a couple of reasons. #1 we did not really enjoy any of the dishes we ordered. This alone wouldn't normally inspire me to leave a review, as I know that many variables contribute to the way food tastes, and sometimes a place just has an "off" night. The other reason I'm leaving 2 stars is more offensive to me than the first; the menu prices are actually 33% higher than stated online. I thought I'd be paying around $45 and my bill was actually $70. I believe the owner should update the photos of the menu and the prices on the Google maps menu. As it stands, we felt mislead.
