Talk about a disappointment. I've been hearing about high-hand for quite a while and was excited to try it out. We booked a table a month in advance excited to try their brunch. When we arrived the hostess just walks up and stares at us expectantly for our reservation name without so much as a greeting, she takes us to our table and barely says 2 words to us. The server takes awhile to show up, and when he finally brings around our coffee he splashes a bunch on the table as he's setting them down and walks away. Then we see one of the coffee cups is dirty, with clear lipstick marks still on it. The water cups didn't seem too clean either. Gross. Seriously just do better. Once we got our food, it was okay. Nothing about it was interesting or above average, and it was all overpriced. We got 3 dishes; their french toast, eggs benedict with salmon, and huevos rancheros. The dishes all had 1 single piece of pineapple on the side; a sad attempt at a garnish or perhaps a pallet cleanser? Regardless, it would have been nice if they put some more effort into their dishes. Lousy plating as well, the dishes were sloppy served with hollandaise sauce spilling off the plate and the huevos rancheros messily arranged. It seems their standards are pretty low all around. $85 for a subpar meal with lousy service in a nice unique setting. Not worth it.
