Motel 6 Long Beach, CA - Los Angeles

The only thing good I can say about this establishment on 7th st in long beach .ca was that my room was clean.... the room rate was too high considering other motel 6 were cheaper I only booked it because it was close to my family's house in long beach. They had no amenities no free WiFi like come on even target has free WiFi I had to pay for Wi-Fi every day ridiculous the staff was rude especially the housekeepers omg never have I ever stayed at a hotel where the housekeepers were so freaking rude and pushy like why keep banging on my door early in the morning while I'm sleeping I'm a stay I just need towels and my trash tooken out geesh then I got accused of smoke dope in my room which is a flipping insult considering I have copd I can barely breath on my own I need oxygen just to make it throughout the day even if I wanted to do something as disgusting as smoking dope I'd be in the er for an exasperation you see if the housekeeper just did her job correctly instead of Trying to get guest in trouble for no reason then maybe my stay would have been better. I still can't get over how horrible this place was I guess it's easy to assume all blacks do drugs . The front desk kept calling my room over every little thing I actually disconnected the phone seriously no lie thats how much they were calling me . Now it'd be one thing if I was guest who knew nothing about how motels are operated but I'm not I'm a former employee of comfort inn where I worked for 7yrs I started off as a housekeeper then worked my way to the front desk I just cannot imagine treating my guest the way this motel 6 did I would of lost my job every day we would rush to get up and get ready so we could leave because the housekeepers would literally bang on the doors and walk back and forth looking in your room God it was so uncomfortable there They were so pushy and inconsiderate it really ruined our Christmas and that's a shame I had flown my mother who btw I haven't seen in 4yrs to be with me on Christmas it was suppose to be a happy memorabl trip unfortunately they ruined it for us I was going to extend our stay for another five nights but decided to check out and stay at the residence inn it was such a relief checking into a new place at least their staff knows how to treat their guest no harassing calls no rude housekeepers just genuine people who made my trip a little better never ever going to a motel 6 again you can thank 7th street in long beach for that waste of money

I got a room here to spend time with my BF for his 30th birthday. The room we got had a queen size bed. Overall, the room was nice and clean, but the wifi was slow. Unfortunately, some of the people that had rooms their had issues. Babe and I could hear people arguing in the morning outside of our room.
