Do you want to change design styles but don't want to buy all new furniture?  Do you have way too much stuff and need to get organized or get rid of things?  Do you want a designer who listens to you and almost seems to know what you want or need before you do?  Then Tamara is the one for you.  She has merged the mid-century modern furniture from our Long Beach home, which she also designed,  to work with our new mountain home to create the modern cabin feel I've been seeking.  In the process she has reorganized our garage and gently encouraged us to part with items we haven't used in years.  We are feeling very light-hearted and grateful for this lovely creative whirl-wind.

Oh my gosh!!!  This is my second time to invite this magical, miracle worker into my new home to create beauty, positive energy-flow and practicality in each room (garage included)!  The first home was mid-century in style.  Tamara was able to create a path of merging two households into one...keeping what was important and buying what was needed.  This time we are in a kinda-cabin in Big Bear Lake.  As I write this she is going through my closets and organizing clothes for me.  I have ADHD and am creative; therefore, in great need of the OCD ball of energy who takes charge, listens very well and works hard to make certain that my heart's desire is accomplished in my home.  Tamara brings an amazing talent to help make life easier and more enjoyable!

If you need someone to make great design decisions for you, Tamara is confident and capable or....if you're like me, and need to see many choices before you know what you want for your home,  she is patient and full of helpful ideas.  Tamara is imaginative and can think outside of the box!  She works very well with others and is down to earth, fun and inventive.  Mostly what we appreciated about Tamara is she helps decorate according to your style, not hers.  She is attentive and deliberate in listening to please you.  We are ready for the next phase and confident Tamara will continue her 5 stars when we further utilize her talents on all the final interior touches in our home!

I would give Tamara 10 stars if I could.  She helped me to remodel and redecorate my entire 2,100 square foot home!  I found her to be artful as she offered ideas that I NEVER would have thought to include in my home.  She helped me to shop and find high quality items on sale and her eye was always on the lookout for finishing touches that helped to make the design look so much more sophisticated than I could have done on my own.  An extra bonus was that she helped me to organize the entire house, from closet to kitchen!

Tamara Van Nuck has helped my husband and me with a number of projects at our home in Studio City. Our first job together was a $60,000 redo of our master bathroom and refurbishment of our bedroom. Tamara's impeccable taste and keen eye for quality helped guide us in choosing our contractor, the design layout, the fixtures and the total look of the rooms.In our kitchen upate five years later, Tamara was the only designer from among those we interviewed who suggested unique solutions for creating more counter space, utilizing the wall space for storage and using the old pantry as a recessed nook for the refrigerator/freezer. The whole job went so smoothly under Tamara's guidance that we were out and back into our brand new kitchen, in a matter of three weeks.The two bathrooms that we redid last year came in under budget and fit in beautifully with the existing style of the rest of the house.I can't thank Tamara enough for her directness in communication, skillful execution and terrific eye for quality products at the right price. We will certainly use her services in the future.
