Came here yesterday to take my 2 year old daughter and as soon as I finished filling out the chart they took us in right away and the nurses and doctors were so amazing and had so much patience for my daughter she was crying and screaming a lot from her pain and because she was scared but they treated all of us so nicely and the nurses and doctors cared for her so much Im so glad I brought her in I had a very good experience here and they answered all my questions and concerns and one of them told me I was doing amazing when he saw how overwhelmed I was when I came in.

GO TO A DIFFERENT ER. 13+ hour wait, no matter what time of day you go. Homeless sleeping in the waiting room. No doctor on duty to prescribe pain meds for patients suffering unbearable pain. More security guards than medical professionals. I brought my fiance here at 5 in the morning on a Tuesday, hes a 64 man and he was screaming in pain from what we thought was a ruptured gallbladder. They gave him 500mg of Tylenol and told us that regardless of the urgency, it would be a 13+ hour wait. Other patients had been waiting 15 hours. We left and drove to a different ER. My fiance ended up having kidney stones, and the doctors said the pain he was experiencing was equivalent to a gunshot wound. Save yourself the trouble and have someone drive to a different ER. UPDATE: MemorialCare - you CLEARLY know this is MUCH MORE than a slight issue. Your review response time is faster than your ability to consult DYING PATIENTS. I agree with what the other reviewers have said, the way your facility is being run is inhumane.

The reviews here are not exaggerating. The ER is severely understaffed and mismanaged. Medical staff seem competent but the lobby is literally overflowing with patients; people sitting on the floor and standing blocking all the doorways. All family/friends/visitors were kicked out to wait in cars or stand in the cold to make room for patients and the lobby was still full. Saw a mother with a toddler with respiratory distress leave after waiting in line trying to get to the triage nurse. Total wait time was 12 hours and 10 minutes for someone with severe chest pain and the nurses said this is better than normal, so the replies about sudden influx causing longer than usual wait times should be taken with a grain of salt. Hospital management is clearly aware of the issue but has not taken adequate steps to address the root causes of the bottleneck. This note is not meant as an offense to this ER, but realistically if you have anything potentially life threatening, please drive to a different hospital or you may very well die waiting for help here.

Worst ER experience ever. crowded, people screaming, crying, and bodily fluids splashing everywhere. My 13 hours wait in a noisy hallway without food or water was inhumane.

Another update: After waiting for several hours I told the staff my experiences with not being able to breathe. The triage girl said my numbers look fine so they cant do anything for me other than continue to wait for the physician. I told her I dont feel well and dont want to sit out here and die. She then responded Well if you died, youd have a bed. Thats the worst thing Ive ever heard from a staff member. Pursuing legal action after my experiences. Rude nurses, incompetent staff. Update: Left after waiting 6 hours with no help from anyone. They mustve been upset about my complaint. I couldnt get any paperwork regarding my results and my experience was overall the worst. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST! Im so disappointed. The charge nurse, who was a guy spoke to me and nothing was resolved other than contacting customer service. You need better protocol when someone is physically dissatisfied with your services. I hope it gets shut down! Here now and my experience here has been below par. The nurses lack empathy and the attitudes of the staff needs adjusting. Working in a field where your patients care is of most importance you must overachieve in your field. They dont care, as you can see the response to all the reviews is the same. This hospital has declined dramatically.
