I am giving this specialist 1 star reason is the only way I am able to leave a review. I have PPO insurance, went to see this specialist due to pain on my left knee. My provider informed that the MRI showed I had a meniscus tear & torn ligament. This was the reason of my pain for the past 2 mos. On my 1st with specialist he saw my CD with the results to MRI and quickly stated I had nothing. I gave him the written report of both x ray & MRI done which specifically stated my problem. He moved my leg around asking me if it hurts which I respond yes, of course. I felt that he was thinking I was lying regarding my pain. I can hardly walk, kneel, sit or do such movement. All he recommended was this topical ointment, said it was osteoarthritis & physical therapy will help. He was walking out the office when I stopped him asked if I was to get a brace? He responded, "Oh you want a brace, ok we can order on for you." Then I asked for some time off for work. If you don't ask for what you need it seemed that he didn't care. I had to call his office to find out if he was going to seeing me for a follow up appt. They asked me if I was still in pain. Told yes and that I was under disability so I needed to see him. I saw him again and this time it went even worse. He didn't even examine my knee even after I had told him that I have falled twice since I last saw him. That my knee was locking up and constantly in pain. I also told him that I twisted my left ankle that it was swollen. This is why I have it wrapped up. He didn't even bother looking at either problem my knee or my ankle. Said that he is not sure what can be going on. When I asked for 2 more weeks he told me that it was a courtesy that he gave me time off. I told him that a courtesy??? I have been working and walking on injured knew for the past 2 mos and all you can say is it was a courtesy. I would not recommend this specialist to anyone. I wasted my time going there hoping to get medical attention for my knee. I am going to see another orthopaedic who will hopefully do more what this didn't do for. So, if it was up to me I would not even give him a 1 star like I said it was the only way I was able to leave a comment. Do not go to him. It is a waste of time. I have PPO which you would consider a good insurance. But I wasted 2 co pays seeing this specialist. I am also reporting him to my regarding his medical care towards his patient.
