Royal Cup Cafe & Coffee Shop

Just moved to Long Beach and I am pleased to say I have found a really great hidden treasure. I work virtual a lot so I need a place that is quiet, comfy, and has great coffee. I'm talking huge areas to work, outlets easily accessible, big comfortable chairs (not tiny metal stools like most places here), and really FRIENDLY staff (which is a rare find here)! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a great menu. Something for everyone so if you are looking for your next low key, relaxing cafe this place is it.

Not my style and probably that's why I'm giving it a max of 3. It is a retro place but needs some shaping up. Coffee taste is different but in a good way. Haven't tasted the food. Not all the seats are comfy and I don't think it's for a trendy crowed. If you want a quiet place to sit and sip your drink then this is it.

asked for an orange juice and an iced tea, was given a watered down coffee and unsweetened orange pulp. i'd understand if it was because of a mix up due to several orders being placed at once, but there were no other customers in the cafe. they just seem like they don't really give a damn :/

I used to live right by this coffee shop and I've been a fan since they opened! Everything here is tasty and the owner is fantastic.

I love Royal Cup. Their sandwiches and salads are delicious and they have so many unique gourmet items. I love the eggplantation sandwhich with chicken or the culture shock sandwhich. Their dirty chai is also really good.
