California Aqua Pros

We could not be more pleased with our new water fall/stream by California Aqua Pro's! The different sections are like a natural brook and the 3 waterfalls give the perfect sound in just the right locations. Birds are beginning to find the stream, and it is now our favorite meditation location. Additionally, it has been a big hit in the neighborhood with people walking several blocks to see the river these people put in their front yard. California Aqua Pros is a local, multi-generation, family-run business. They resurfaced our pool, installed all new coping, tile, and pool equipment, did all of the plumbing, and replaced the surrounding cement patio. We never felt like we were "just one more client on their full list" to check off! The end result is beautiful! They provide quality service, and their customer service is evidenced by their quick response whenever we had a question. They are honest and transparent in all of their quotes and communication. What they said they would do, they did! They aim to please, and they do! Greg, Jared, and Marlo, thank you!

Update:  Last week our Pool cleaner booster pump froze up  and we called California Aqua Pros.   We were told that they will back in touch with us sometime next week.   Our pool isn't getting cleaned as this pumps runs the pool cleaner.  Apparently they don't really care once they have been paid. This pump has a two year warranty and I left Greg the owner a message telling him about our issue.   No phone call yet.  This is typical for them. They never called my husband back when our plumbing they installed was leaking badly.  We had to pay another company to come in fix it.  I guess after the money is paid, the service ends.  I can't believe we had so many issues with them and they never once apologized for all of it.  Do yourself a big favor find someone else that stands behind their work.  Greg's company didn't fix anything.  It was Adams Pools that fixed all the issues. When the pebble tech finish was cloudy, we called Greg, again, they did not even show up to the appt with Adams pools even though Greg agreed the finish did not look right. He did nothing about it. I like this rendition below, I was not happy, it wasn't how pebble tech finishes are supposed to look  I contacted Adams directly and they fixed it.  They agreed it wasn't right.  Five stars for Adams for taking care of their customers.  Greg knows every single thing in the review is true. I guess his only angle to combat the factual review is to fling mud at me and say derogatory things. Look at all his reviews responses, they never do anything wrong LOL.  We finally decided to write the review when Greg wouldn't send someone out to fix the plumbing issue 5 weeks out of warranty, it was wasting a lot of water and we are in a drought.  His response time getting back to his customers is usually one to two weeks unless you owe him money and then he will show up.

We were looking to redo/improve our back yard and we chose to rebuild our water feature with California Aqua Pros after talking to Greg and checking out his brochure. The team came on the scheduled date and first carefully took apart my old water feature. They were very careful with my property and asked about what I wanted to throw or keep from my old water feature; they even asked which area of the yard they could use to store the items from my old water feature. They carefully moved my fish and plants to a separate temporary tank. They made sure not to ruin any part of my back or front yard; they covered the spaces they were using with tarp. I was nervous in the beginning owing to my past experiences with contractors; however, just watching the systemic, organized way in which the team, led by Brian worked; how they treated my property and my things; put all my doubts to rest. They are very professional and knowledgeable and courteous. They know what they are doing. The entire team worked well together and cleaned up carefully each day before they left. The entire project along with putting in the electricals for lights, was carried out in a very timely manner; my family is very impressed by how efficiently the team worked to finish every detail and feature perfectly and on time. I also had questions during the project and Brian patiently answered all my questions be it about the project design, where to place which color rock or just general knowledge about pond/plant/fish care. He took care of any issue I had; he always made sure I was happy each day with the progress of the project. If I had even a slight doubt about something, we discussed it and he made sure I was happy with the end result. Brian, along with his team, placed each boulder and rock carefully to create a beautifully designed water feature. Every part of the water feature was carefully designed and every detail of it was carefully taken care of. The team made sure to finish every item that was agreed upon in the contract. After the water feature was completed, I was given detailed instructions about how to care for the new components of our water feature. Our water feature was completed in December 2021. Since then, I have had questions regarding maintenance. Greg had been kind enough to answer my questions and give advice along with required links to more information. I have had quite a few bad experiences with pond contractors in the past. Many dont follow up and charge to come back if something goes wrong. Greg and his team have returned to help me when I had questions. They are very professional and knowledgeable, and they do a great job! Services: Design, Remodeling
