West Coast Jiu-Jitsu Academy

West Coast Jiu Jitsu is an excellent gym, run by an amazing instructor/owner. Rafael creates an awesome family friendly environment all while being able to provide elite level Jiu Jitsu coaching and instruction. He is able to breakdown complex techniques that higher belts can use to improve their game and compete at the highest levels but teaches it in a manner where the lower belts can wrap their heads around it and pick it up as well. After visiting and attending classes at several gyms, I wouldnt rather be anywhere else.

My children (age 6 and 11) and I train at West Coast and the owner and coach is the BEST. He does a great job teaching the children while at the same time making it fun. I thought I would give it a shot and train as well....I'm so glad I did! Coach Rafael truly cares about his students and creates a warm and inviting environment.

Were so happy to be a part of the West Coast Jiu Jitsu family. We came here last year in the hopes of finding a sport for our son that would teach him discipline, respect, and self defense. He has learned all that and so much more. You feel welcomed from the first day and continue to feel welcome and part of the WCJJ family each day. Since we have started my husband and I have joined and started training as well. Were having a great time and are so grateful for Coach Rafael for his kindness and attention he gives to all his students.
