Should have looked him up before calling him. I also had bad experience. He is physically unfit to go to people's homes and work on tuning a piano! He could barely walk into my house and he was huffing and puffing while working. His fingers were shaking he could barely put on screws. He is NOT customer service friendly. I felt bad for him for his physical condition and maybe it doesnt represent his skillmanship but reading other posts I also want to chime in and help future customers from wasting their time, energy and money by calling up this guy.

Unfortunately I had Phillip out to look at my piano at our music school before reading these other reviews. We have kids around and he was constantly swearing and talking politics, and took way too long to give me a quote on something that should have been relatively quick. While at our business giving us a quote on repairs to the piano, he got in an argument with another business owner nextdoor and was extremely unprofessional. He was not being kind in the slightest and it was a very awkward experience all-around having him here.

Thank you so much for the previous reviewer Joseph B.It was a red flag immediately. I read his review while Phil was "tuning" my piano. He said he needed to take my whole keyboard away to his shop and work on it, then he started to pop off my ivory covers when I had enough. I did not let him take the keyboard with him. After he left my piano is out of tune and missing four ivory keys which I did not let him glue back. I appreciate these Yelp reviews. It saved me from a lot of frustration and disappointment that the previous reviewer had gone through.

Destroyed my piano. I called him for a tuning. He ended up gluing the keys together, replacing them with ill-fitting keys from another model, and not even completing the work. I no longer enjoy playing my baby grand, because of the clunking noise it now makes where he replaced the action with the wrong ones. He stole two of the mechanisms for the keys, and never replaced them, so my piano is down to 86 usable keys. He was extremely unprofessional and would sometimes go a week without returning my calls or contacting me. He would cuss and swear in front of my children. He told me that the only reason I had gotten my piano "so cheap" was because it was an older model with hard to find parts. Thanks, but I inherited it after my mother's dear friend of four decades passed away. Thanks for calling her death "cheap." Please, for the love of God, do not have anything to do with this man.
