Kumon Math and Reading Center of LADERA RANCH

I only have positive things to say about Miss Andrea, Mr David and all of the teachers at Kumon Ladera Ranch. We signed up in fall of 2020. Miss Andrea and Mr David have done everything to keep their classroom safe for children and teachers throughout a pandemic, while cultivating an environment for children to flourish and learn. My daughter is starting kindergarten having already achieved her schools end of year objectives in both reading and math. My son has consistently been ahead of his class in math for the last two years and was able to end first grade above the benchmark level for reading. All because of Kumon Ladera Ranch. Simply saying thank you doesn't feel like enough. I know my kids have a strong educational foundation because of Miss Andrea and Mr David.

We love Kumon Ladera Ranch! My daughter started when she was 5 and my son started right before he turned 6. Andrea and David are a DELIGHT to work with! Their teachers are so kind and patient. And so wonderful at recognizing when to move them to the next level. They have taught my kids to be independent when doing their work/homework and to be problem solvers! This has really given my kids confidence at school and other activities they're in. We can't recommend Kumon Ladera Ranch enough! 5 stars on every level!!

David and Andrea are absolutely wonderful! They have been so kind and gracious and so flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciate. If you want your child to be getting one on one instruction, having fun, and building self esteem and confidence in regards to academics this is the place for your child! We are SO grateful for Kumon!

David is a great teacher!! I love that my daughter could do the work herself because that really increased her confidence (plus I didn't have to help!) My daughter learned her math facts very quickly and never complained about going to class. I highly recommend this center!!

We have nothing but great things to say about the Kumon location here in Ladera and would give it more than five stars if we could! David and Andrea run a seamless operation and are so communicative with the families on progress, expectations, etc. The teachers are all patient and professional with the children, at least based on our observations. David and Andrea work tirelessly to help the children succeed and stay motivated. Our child started here when he was in preK and in 2.5 years, he went from not recognizing most letters and numbers to doing fractions/long division and reading (with comprehension and understanding) chapter books and sounding out and spelling multi syllable words. Compared to what is being taught in both public and private schools, he is ahead of grade level in both math and reading and much of it is thanks to the tools Kumon provides. Kumon is a great complement to whatever curriculum your child is already learning in public or private school, or even homeschooling, speaking from personal experience. Additionally, because Kumon sets the foundation for daily (home)work, our child is not opposed to homework and can easily do significantly more classwork than his peers in the same period of time.
