Desert Sage

Nice Hostesses when we arrived, felt very welcome. We were greeted by our waiter almost 10 minutes after we were seated with would you like bottled water or tap water? and he walked away. After looking at the menu the prices were quite high for what appeared to be a medium range establishment. I would assume their meats were not Prime cuts as I would expect they would advertise that on their menu but the prices reflected a prime cut. The food presentation was very dark ...I could not identify what was on my plate it all looked black including the potatoes. 38 dollars for the trim off a prime rib are they crazy. On top of mediocre food and presentation we were rarely checked on to see if we needed anything or if our meal was ok, Our waiter seemed grossly under trained. I am a trained chef and my family has been in the food business for over 2 decades. We were very disappointed with this establishment. Poor to Fair service and OVER PRICED mediocre food.

The burger here is absolutely amazing. It's "soused", and so flavorful. Stop in for happy hour and try it - you won't be disappointed.

utter disappointment - Restaurant manager was friendly, circulated among guests, but tolerates an owner who proved himself to be an out of control inebriated bully with the unmitigated capacity for insulting guests. I had to force my way out of the restroom after being accosted by this owner accusing me of picking his pocket and demanding I return his wallet. Never going back.
